Since believing Christians are in the world as the earth of the Lord Jesus Christ prayer in John 17. It is the earth of 1 John 1:8, which is union with Christ. It is the spiritual baptism in the Holy Spirit that is like water cleansing, by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ that 1 John 5:8 is referring too. And in real abiding sense, the body of the believing Christians are the Temple of God. Where also the Apostle Paul says.
